有的观众可能觉得前奏太长，但大部分人都在跟着前奏拍手，吴白天表演的正是他新“写”的英文歌《Hotel California》。
持续了两分钟的吉他演奏之后，坐在高脚凳上的他一开口，一种带着自由与理想的节奏就扑面而来。
“On a dark desert highway， cool wind in my hair在漆黑荒凉的高速公路上，凉风吹散了我的头发
Warm smell of colitas， rising up through the air科里塔斯温热的气息，升起通过空气
Up ahead in the distance， I saw a shimmering light抬头极目远方，看见微微闪烁的灯光
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim我的头脑变得沉重，我的视线越发模糊
I had to stop for the night我不得不停下来过夜
There she stood in the doorway;在那里，她就站在门口;
I heard the mission bell我听到教堂的钟声
And I was thinking to myself，我在心里对自己，

Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way然后，她点起一根蜡烛，给我的方式
There were voices down the corridor，有声音在走廊，

歌声高亢嘹亮，让观众们不由的沉浸在其中，吴白天的脚尖轻轻在地面上点着节拍，拨弄着吉他的同时深情的对着话筒唱着，其他乐器的声音并不明显，给他伴奏的乐队一点儿没有喧宾夺主的意思。。
